England and Leicester Tigers legend Dan Cole will retire from professional rugby at the end of the season after almost two decades of service at the Premiership club. The tighthead prop has made 340 senior appearances for the side in a glittering career for both club and country, while he was also a British and Irish Lions tourist on two occasions. After graduating from Leicester‘s Academy, Cole was loaned to Bedford Blues in 2006 and made 34 appearances for the Championship club over two seasons.

The match officials have been confirmed for this weekend’s United Rugby Championship (URC) quarter-finals as eight teams look to seal a semi-final place. Glasgow Warriors and the Stormers kick off the action on Friday when they square off at Scotstoun Stadium, with the pair having finished fourth and fifth respectively. Andrew Brace (IRFU) will referee that game in Scotland, while Ben Whitehouse and Ben Breakspear (both WRU) are the assistant referees. Olly Hodges (IRFU) is the TMO.
