The 22-year-old guard, who currently plays for college side the Charleston Cougars, will take part in the event in a bid to impress the Timberwolves’ coaches ahead of the NBA Draft, which begins on June 25. At his testimonial game on Sunday, recognising 14 years of remarkable service to the organisation as a player and a coach, the Giants legend will become only the eighth player in club history to see his jersey raised to the rafters, never to be worn again by another player. It is the highest honour that can be bestowed in hockey and a wholly deserved one for Keefe, the team's most successful coach and an individual who is described as the "heartbeat" of the organisation.

I wish I could dress this up any other way but the only way to describe this is as an absolute nightmare for Jackie Burns. The goalkeeper takes a back-pass on the edge of her own box and, initially, is under no pressure from the Polish attack, but she takes too long on the ball and by the time she tries to play it, Pajor is on her. Burns tries to turn back and deceive the striker, but Pajor sticks out a boot and manages to deflect it forward, which gives her a simple tap-in into the empty net.

The IRFU axing the Men's Sevens programme is a huge move. I appreciate plenty of factors behind it but to completely wipe out an entire form of the game is a bold call.

Not exactly blockbuster signings for Ulster, but McGuire looks like he has potential to build on alongside Scott Wilson at tighthead at least. Could yet be an astute pick-up. https://t.co/0nVIVRTQG3

These are now the confirmed pots for next week's @championshockey draw. So, let's hear it, who do you want the @BelfastGiants to get?

The @championshockey league stage draw is confirmed for May 21 and, based on previous years, here’s what the pools will look like (to be officially confirmed!). A reminder that the @BelfastGiants will face two teams from each of Pots 1, 2 and 3, one home and one away. https://t.co/GdojO8t43l
