GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A coastal low moving up the Georgia and Carolina coastline will bring showers to the western Carolinas. Then, a front will stall out over the area keeping rain and storm chances through the weekend into early next week. Friday and Saturday could see some isolated strong to severe storms primarily in the afternoon. Cloud cover will increase on Wednesday as the coastal system moves closer. Showers will push in late Wednesday, with mostly light rain.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Temperatures and humidity will be climbing through the week! A coastal low will bring showers to the Upstate, then a stalling front will keep rain chances through the weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 80s through Thursday. Cloud cover increases slightly, as well as isolated rain chances into Thursday. Along the coast there will be some heavy rain and wind as a coastal low develops into Wednesday and Thursday.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - We’ve issued a First Alert Weather Day for Friday, as a cold front will be moving in to bring a better chance for organized severe weather with a line of storms. Timing currently brings the line of storms into the mountains toward lunchtime, then exits our area early Friday early evening. Best chance for Upstate storms will be early to middle afternoon. Thursday will also bring a few late day showers and storms, but severe threat is low.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Memorial Day will be a cool, gray day with cloudy skies and a few showers possible. The best rain chances for the week ahead will come on Tuesday with showers and thunderstorms expected. Timeframe for rain on Monday will come in the late afternoon/evening. We COULD have a couple showers early in the day. The good news is that nothing severe is expected, but there could be a few thunderstorms mixed in.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Shower chances quickly increase late Saturday into Sunday. There could even be a few thunderstorms Sunday but severe weather is not expected. Lows on Sunday night will be a little warmer, but still on the cooler side with 50s areawide for lows. Average low for this time of the year is 60. Along with the increased rain chances, warmth and humidity will spread back across the region giving a summer like feel to the air.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Sunny weather takes over for the next few days before rain chances creep back in Memorial Day weekend. Temperatures cooling down to below average by Friday with rain chances increasing starting Sunday. High temperatures Friday and Saturday only in the mid 70s with low temperatures in the low to mid 50s. Some spots in the mountains could see lows in the 40s!Temperatures will be running BELOW normal. Average high this time of the year is in the upper 70s to near 80.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - After the overnight storms, sunshine takes over Wednesday with cooler temperatures on the way starting Friday. Winds will also pick up Wednesday with the cold front sweeping through. Winds could gust to 25 MPH Wednesday afternoon. The weather remains quiet for the next several days with temperatures cooling down into the 70s by Friday as a cooler air mass moves into the region. Temperatures will be running BELOW normal.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Storms move in tonight bringing a threat for severe weather into the late night hours. Isolated storms are possible through the end of this evening, then much of Tuesday will be dry. Storm chances increase toward 11 PM Tuesday and continue through the overnight. Storm chances start decreasing early Wednesday morning around 3-4AMThe main threats are isolated with the threat for damaging winds and hail. Although, the tornado threat isn’t zero - higher for areas west.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Shower chances continue both Saturday and Mother’s Day. Rain chances pick back up Monday and Tuesday. Heavy rain is expected starting next week. We’ve called First Alert Weather Day for Monday and Tuesday because several inches is expected. Saturday will start off on the cloudy and cool side, with rain building in through the day. Highs will only warm into the upper 60s to 70 by afternoon. Mother’s Day won’t be ideal weather, but it won’t be a washout either.
