    The NFL is set to approve allowing players to take part in Flag Football at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. The motion for approval is expected to pass at league meetings on Tuesday. At least 24 of 32 teams must approve the motion. The NFL will then need to bargain with the NFLPA on injury protection language. The 2028 Summer Olympics are scheduled for July 14 through July 30. Players taking part may miss the first portion of training camp.

    Fred Warner and the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a three-year, $63 million contract extension through the 2029 season. The reworked deal adds $56 million in guaranteed money and makes him one of the NFL's highest-paid off-ball linebackers at $21 million per season. Under the terms of his old deal, Warner was scheduled to count $29.17 million against the 2025 cap and $26.71 million against the 2026 cap. Both numbers would have been easily among the two highest at the position in the NFL.

The Cowboys previously acquired wide receiver Jonathan Bingo from the Carolina Panthers.
