DiscussionThis retrospective analysis of patients within the CPRD Aurum database and linked HES inpatient and ONS mortality datasets described the 12-month probability of MACE and non-cardiovascular mortality in a cohort of patients with ASCVD and elevated LDL-C. We estimated that patients without T2DM within this cohort had an overall 12-month probability of MACE of 7.87%, while for those with T2DM the probability was 11.78%.
