RM: The first election I voted in was Al Gore and George W Bush. RR: What were some of your reasons for voting in this election? RM: Women’s rights.     Riverdale Review: What is a moment that you will never forget from your years of teaching? Ms. Diana Swartz: My very first year I had a new student who is a senior now, his name is Charlie Schuman. He was really nervous because he was new. I said: “don’t worry Charlie, I’m new also.” I had to take Blue Homebase on a tour of the campus and I didn’t know the campus so I came in at 6:30 that morning and the security guard saw me. They were worried: what was I doing on campus?

    Riverdale Review: What field of study are you pursuing? Stephen Fealy: I’m currently pursuing Music with a minor in French and Cinema Studies. I’ve been doing music for a very long time and that was a part of my experience at Riverdale. Fun fact: I composed the school bell at Riverdale. That was a long time ago, maybe 2016 or 2017. I want to work in the entertainment industry, whether film or music. RR: Why did you decide to attend Hamilton College?

    Riverdale Review: What field of study are you pursuing? Priscilla Jimenez: I’m currently pursuing Political Science and I’m still considering a few minors like International Relations or Human Rights. I’ve always been interested in politics from a very young age. In college, I have the opportunity to formalize my learning by talking about different frameworks of understanding the world around me and being able to analyze and write about it.

It was a school for recent immigrants to the United States.
