The Meghalaya Football Association today revealed the 13 teams that will participate in its inaugural Meghalaya Women’s State League, which will be held from August 2025. Anticipation is high for the first ever statewide women’s league that will bring together the top teams from district associations affiliated to the MFA. It has been a goal of the state body to hold a women’s league and the dream will become a reality in a couple of months time thanks to the support of the Meghalaya government.
