    Kawasaki Disease (KD) presents with diverse manifestations and outcomes. Recent work by Wang et al. identified four distinct KD subgroups based on clinical and laboratory features: elevated liver involvement (subgroup 1: liver), high band neutrophil counts (subgroup 2: band), prominent cervical lymphadenopathy (subgroup 3: node), and younger age (subgroup 4: young). Plasma cell-free RNA (cfRNA), released by circulating and solid tissue cells, offers insight into systemic cellular dynamics.
