SHANGLA:The prices of non-custom paid vehicles has gone up considerably in the Malakand Division of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa after the rumours that government has announced an amnesty scheme for such vehicles. Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has already refuted all such rumours and said that an amnesty could be announced only by the federal government which no such plans.

SHANGLA:In the first serious post-election violence since Thursday's vote, a clash over rigging allegations between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and the police in Shangla on Friday left four people dead and over 30 injured, four of whom were transferred to hospital in critical condition. Among the wounded was Nawaz Mehmood, a former National Assembly candidate of PTI, as well as seven police officers. Moreover, over three dozen PTI workers were taken into police custody.

BISHAM: Eight children were killed and one injured when a mass of earth fell on them while playing cricket in Martung area of the Shangla district on Thursday, officials and locals said. They said the kids were playing cricket when the landslide occurred, burying them alive. The news about the incident panicked the villagers who rushed to the site, looking for their loved ones. Initially, there was no information about the exact number of children trapped under the rubble.

SHANGLA:In a devastating incident, at least eight children lost their lives in a landslide near a cricket ground in the mountainous Shangla district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Thursday. Rescue officials from Rescue 1122 told The Express Tribune that the children were playing cricket in a local ground when they were buried alive by the landslide. Initially, the local residents took the initiative to start the rescue operation, but for two hours, there was no sign of official assistance.
