To explore and investigate the relationship between TRIM8 and PEDV infection, we measured the expression of TRIM8 in PEDV-infected IPEC-J2 cells using qRT-PCR and western blot analysis. The results showed that the expression level of the TRIM8 gene was significantly upregulated at 12, 24, and 48 h of infection, with the highest level observed at 24 h post-infection (Figure 1A).

Research on virus-host interactions has long been a focus of study. This field not only uncovers the mysterious roles of viral proteins and the complex mechanisms behind viral pathogenicity [93,94,95] but also lays the groundwork for developing new antiviral drugs [96,97,98]. NDV, an essential representative of paramyxoviruses, has provided valuable insights into the unexplored replication and pathogenesis of paramyxoviruses [99,100,101].

Uterine fluid homeostasis during peri-implantation is crucial for successful embryo implantation. Taurine (Tau) plays a crucial role in regulating osmotic pressure and ion transport. However, the precise mechanisms underlying Tau-mediated regulation of uterine fluid homeostasis during peri-implantation in mice remain unclear.
