    MethodsWritten consent from study participants was obtained for participation in the prospective biomarker validation study Gynaecological Oncology Targeted Therapy Study 01 (GO-Target-01) under research ethics approval number 11/SC/0014. Tumour and blood samples were obtained on the day of surgery. Blood samples were processed to isolate peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) using Lymphoprep™ (STEMCELL Technologies, Canada).
