1. IntroductionThe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is the largest country in the Arabian Peninsula, with an area exceeding 2.5 million km2 [1]. Ankara, (Halbeeg News) – Federal government of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is scheduled to hold direct talks with Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in one of the highest level of engagements of the two countries which have differed for close to a year. Mogadishu, (Halbeeg News) – The Somali National Armed Army (SNA) and Jubaland’s  Dervish forces early Wednesday successfully repelled an attack in Raskamboni, Lower Jubba region. MOGADISHU, (Xinhua) – The United Nations in Somalia joined the international community in marking Human Rights Day on Tuesday by commending the Somali government for its recent achievements in promoting and protecting the rights of all people. James Swan, acting special representative of the UN Secretary-General for Somalia, said notable among these achievements in the past year is the signing of the Somali National Disability Rights Protection Act into law.

NAIROBI, (Xinhua) – The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) announced Tuesday that it has secured 22 million U.S. dollars to strengthen climate resilience and food security in East Africa. The UN agency said the funds will be directed toward smallholder farmers, livestock keepers and marginalized groups, including women and youth, in Kenya, Somalia and South Sudan.
