HOMS, Syria/ISTANBUL Anadolu captured footage of the T4 Airbase in central Syria, a facility that has Israel is trying to destroy with airstrikes. The T4 Airbase, located west of the ancient city of Palmyra in Homs province, was used for years by the now-ousted regime of Bashar Assad. One of the country’s largest military airfields, the base spans a wide area, featuring long runways and extensive aircraft parking zones.

DAMASCUS/ISTANBULA mass grave believed to contain the remains of civilians killed by the deposed Bashar al-Assad regime has been discovered in the town of Sbeneh, southwest of the Syrian capital of Damascus. Syrian Civil Defense teams discovered the grave in the basement of a building once used by the now-deposed regime to detain civilians. Following the overthrow of the Baath regime, mass graves continue to be discovered during searches throughout the country.
