Kingfisher Drinks has added a new flavour to its Peacock cider brand. Peacock Passion Fruit & Guava will be available to grocery and convenience retailers from June onwards with an RRP of £2.70 for a 500ml bottle. Retailers are feeling let down the Labour Government and fear it will be harder to succeed in 2025. A survey of 1,000 retailers, carried out by JTI, found that 82% of respondents feel the Labour Government has broken its promise to support small businesses, citing rising business rates, an increase in National Insurance contributions, the proposed generational smoking ban and minimum wage increases as the main reasons for their discontent.

Co-op has signed a partnership with Royal Mail to install parcel lockers at its stores. There are plans for Royal Mail to have lockers at 100 Co-op stores, with the first installations expected to take place in Aberdeen, Swansea, Brighton, Derby and Nottingham during the summer.
