A major Dubai Metro station has changed its name. Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that GGICO Metro Station will be renamed Al Garhoud Metro Station as of Monday April 14. GGICO Metro Station is on the Red Line and is situated in the Garhoud area of Dubai. The new name is a bid to “improve efficiency, providing a seamless experience for everyone.”The name change was announced on X (formally Twitter) by the official RTA page.
