While the representation of senior women across the industry has improved over the past decade, the industry has recently come under increased scrutiny when it comes to concerns around work-life balance and provision of support measures. Though the average number of female partners hit 36% this year, up from 27% in 2022 according to 2023 Law.com’s gender diversity survey, the hurdles impeding women in law, whether early or late on in their careers, are still obvious.
