Officers in Riley County have arrested a local man for failure to appear in court for a preliminary evaluation. Police arrested Anthony Sutton, 42, of Manhattan on Wednesday evening at approximately 7:30 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for failing to appear in court. The charge stems from a Sept. 25, 2024 arrest where Sutton was charged with aggravated assault with the use of a deadly weapon. Sutton’s bond in this case has been set at $25,000.
