    Morning, y’all! It’s Tax Day, or at least it is for most of the country. Here in Georgia, our tax deadline has been pushed back to May 1 to allow extra time for people affected by Hurricane Helene. Sorry if you pulled your hair out trying to file on time. At least it’s done now! Let’s get to it. Seventeen current and former college students have filed a lawsuit claiming the federal government illegally terminated their immigration records.

    Morning, y’all! I swear I saw pink lightning in the Smyrna area as those storms rolled in last night. It’s totally possible: Lightning can appear different colors based on how far away you are and what combination of elements are in the atmosphere. “Pink Lightning” also makes a great name for a gender-swapped production of “Grease.”Let’s get to it.

    Morning, y’all! A while ago we talked about pollen, and the A.M. ATL family had questions. For one, how did the pollen count get so high over the years? We finally have some answers. On the bright side, Atlanta has a lot of trees! About 25 different species of trees in Atlanta release pollen. On the not-so-bright side, climate change has stretched the pollen season way longer than it used to be.
