A Note on Joie from Marrakech…This November, I’m inviting you to join me for an unforgettable escape to Marrakech—a city that stirs the senses and speaks to the soul. Bold colors, rich textures, intricate patterns—they’re everywhere: in the courtyards of riads, in mosaic tiles, and, of course, in the beautiful caftans you know I love so much. Design lovers have long looked to this city for inspiration.

I’m back with another episode of Table Topics—a video series where I invite creatives, writers, and friends over to chat. The concept is simple yet always full of surprises. Think of it as a kind of verbal Marcel Proust Questionnaire, though the questions aren’t always the same. Sometimes they’re playful, sometimes introspective, and often they take us to unexpected places.

Spring truly arrived this past March, and for once, it feels like it has actually stuck around. In Paris, we often get glimpses of what I like to call "faux spring," only for the chill and rain to return. I expect rain in March and April to help the blooms along, but it’s the cold that drives me bonkers. I’ve lived through two or three random April snow days here, so my skepticism runs deep. However, this year, we didn’t slip back into freezing temperatures—and it’s been so nice.

I truly love putting these lists together every season because it helps me research and round up all the exhibitions I would love to see. Sure, it isn’t possible to make it to all of them, but I sure try. Also for those of you who live far away, maybe you are similar to me and enjoy knowing what exhibitions are happening around the world. I am happy to read the website descriptions, see what free tidbits they generously share, and then I order the catalogue.

February was a rather sleepy and short month. I managed to break my toe at the beginning of the month so I didn’t get around much. (And don’t feel too sorry for me because I do this at least 2-3 times a year.) Our kids had two weeks off school for the ski/Winter holidays, and I had big plans to finally make it to the Fete du Citron in Menton, but with a busted toe, plans had to be adjusted. Next year, hopefully, I won’t walk like a duck and can actually make it.
