The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (the "Abu Dhabi Chamber") recently announced that the Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre ("ADCCAC") will be closed and replaced by a newly launched Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre. Branded “arbitrateAD”, this will be an independent international arbitration centre based in Abu Dhabi. ArbitrateAD’s governance structure and arbitration rules will replace those of ADCCAC from 1 February 2024.

On , the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration ("CRCICA") released the long-awaited draft of its updated Arbitration Rules ("2023 Draft Rules"). The 2023 Draft Rules are available here. The suggested changes notably take into account recent changes introduced by other leading arbitral institutions, such as SIAC, SCCA, ICC, LCIA, and HKIAC.
