This is the highest award a local voluntary group can receive in the UK and is equivalent to an MBE.

Whilst members of the scheme enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea, guest of honour Lady Emma found time to speak to each of the volunteers swapping anecdotes and thanking them for their dedication, hard work and service to the community. The Help Scheme is a registered charity that covers Storrington, West Chiltington, Ashington, Washington and Thakeham.
