Den, the mostly naked man in the other world of Neverwhere, is the subject of a high-quality reprinting by Dark Horse Comics. And this 128-page first volume hardcover is not simply a ‘reprint’, but a complete restoration of Richard Corben’s story and art. The art pages have been rephotographed from Corben’s original art, colour corrected and re-lettered (Blambot). There are bonus pages too, including sketches, posters, and essays.

Prism Stalker: The Weeping Star, from Dark Horse, continues where Prism Stalker left off. Vep, a young refugee, has been recruited to train on another planet: Eriatarka. She is given an implant that allows her to use  ‘pneuma’, a unique energy that exists only on Eriatarka. Note; This is important. Classwar, or “Cla$$war”, I suppose, is a trade collection of previously published single issues. This Image collection combines the six published issues by Com.X in the early 2000s. As the world of W0RLDTR33 progresses, we delve further into the creepy underworld of the Undernet. This is a fascinating title, and Issue #4 continues the drama: the naked female assassin, the sadistic intent of the Undernet, once unwittingly set loose upon humanity. Oh, what a mistake it was to be curious about the underbelly of the internet, that infecting machine, relentless and oblivious to polite society. One look and it embeds itself on your very soul.

From TokyoPop’s new imprint Noir Caesar, XOGenasys presents a manga about the streets. Darius Smith, an artistic young guy living in the ‘hood’, is trying his best to stay out of trouble. But that is not easy, with gangs constantly trying to recruit him. Ironically, Darius lands in police trouble trying to AVOID trouble. When to use your special fighting power, and when to just take the punches, hmmm. Writer Tre McIntosh gives us a convincing, relatable protagonist in Darius.
