    Trigg County FFA officers and members celebrated the past year with a large crowd of community members during the annual banquet Friday at the Trigg County Recreation Complex Convention Center. 2024-25 Chapter President Jennie Watts thanked the community for continued support through the year. Audio PlayerState FFA Purchase Region Vice-President Ty Elrod encouraged younger members to work hard in the FFA and develop their future. He says for younger members that future can be in the FFA.

    The Caldwell County Conservation District took time Monday night to honor some outstanding farmers and two supporters of the district. The conservation district’s annual dinner was held at Northside Baptist Church. The program was conducted by Caldwell County FFA Officer team with Abigail Drennan presenting an honor award to retired agriculture teacher and administrator Frank Brown for his support of district throughout his career.

    The Hopkinsville Rotary Club kicked their 75th annual auction Monday night at the Memorial Building with Rotarians out-raising the 2024 first night total. After the first night Rotarians reported selling 105 items for $9,238, with the Diner and Sweet Shop netting $2,840, and the Hour and Goat Club raising $130,203. After the first night the Hopkinsville Rotary Auction has raised $130,203, pushing the total $3,456 ahead of 2024.
