It comes less than a week after another artist revealed a synthetic version of her voice had been used on board ScotRail trains. A Scots voiceover artist has condemned an AI company for creating a synthetic version of her voice - which she says has been used for announcements on public buses in Edinburgh. Diane Brooks says Belgian company Acapela is guilty of "stealing her vocal soul" after they used voice recordings she made for them 11 years ago.

Regulators approve five Lumo services a day, linking Scottish stations with English capital for the first timeCut-price train operator Lumo is to launch new Stirling-London services next year, providing three Scottish settlements with their first direct link to the English capital. The company announced on Monday it will run five services a day from the spring after its plans were approved by rail regulators.

LNER punctuality forecast to fall nearly 9 per centPassengers expecting to enjoy faster Edinburgh-London journeys from December face being delayed if too many trains are squeezed on to the line. Analysis by Network Rail, which runs the 400-mile east coast route, showed that LNER’s punctuality could fall by nearly 9 per cent because of congestion, and Lumo’s by nearly 5 per cent.

The plans also illustrate how the widened road will be moved to run right beside Dunkeld Station, whose car park would be moved to the other side of the dual carriageway with a pedestrian underpass link.
