Yes, it sounds like hyperbole, and it seems like a lot of praise for a camera company that has made some questionable releases recently. But hear me out—though the Canon RF50mm F1.4 VCM may not be perfect, it offers a whole lot and may just get you to consider leaving your current system. I’m not going to mince words here: the Canon R5 Mark II and the R1 all left us wanting a lot more from Canon.
