1. IntroductionCystic fibrosis is a complex, multi-systemic disorder primarily characterized by pulmonary complications that significantly impact morbidity and mortality rates [1,2]. It is characterized by progressive chronic airway obstruction and infections since infancy and childhood [3], as well as lung function decline in adolescence [4], which lead to a reduced exercise capacity, muscle resistance, balance, shoulder and chest mobility, bone density, and an increased risk of fractures [5].

1. IntroductionPhysical activity (PA) is intimately related to the general health status of people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and to the disease prognosis [1,2]. Monitoring time spent in moderate to vigorous physical activities (MVPA) is, therefore, important to ensure people with COPD comply with the World Health Organization (WHO) PA recommendations and maximize PA-related benefits [3].
