    The KC Current women’s soccer team is planning to build a second riverfront soccer stadium, this time on the north side of the Missouri River. The Riverside Board of Aldermen approved a $16.8 million plan this week for an expansion to the Current’s training complex off Horizons Parkway with a 2,000-seat outdoor stadium and a 17,000 square-foot performance center with indoor and outdoor training areas, locker rooms, a player lounge and a multipurpose room.
