To the Editor We write to explain an analytical error in our Research Letter titled “Trends in Obesity Prevalence Among Adults Aged 18 Through 25 Years, 1976-2018,” published in the November 23/30, 2021, issue of JAMA.1 This study looked at trends in body mass index (BMI) among young adults aged 18 to 25 years using data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
