Michelle Yeoh stars in the upcoming film, The Surgeon, heading to Cannes Film Market per Deadline. Yeoh plays a retired surgeon who gets abducted to perform a surgery on an unknown patient. However, her kidnappers underestimated her decades long skills with surgerical tools as she kicks their ass in order to escape.

During his opening monologue, he pointed out how surprised people were that his “receding hairline,” “greasy” hair, and “bulging eyes” made him a sexy symbol, but now he can add tiny feet to the list. In a song sung by Jane Wickline, she plays a woman who finds a baby shoe while walking around in a zoo and hopes to find its owner, a baby “Cinderella” but is instead met with Goggins as a man with baby feet.

A new pope has entered the Vatican, and SNL played it very coy. There was no “Da Pope” sketch, nor have they chosen a cast member to play Pope Leo. Are they having their own conclave? Nonetheless, our new American Pope still got goofed on during Weekend Update, after a brief mention from James Austin Johnson’s Trump during the opening monologue. “As an American Catholic, I could not be more proud, which is a sin, and now I’m ashamed,” Colin Jost began.

You work long enough in this biz, you eventually get caught up in layoffs. Yesterday I lost my job at Vulture, the best gig I’ve ever had. Still processing but I’ll want to write again so please keep me in mind for freelance work or regular work or just general nice messages.
