DiscussionThis work shows a numerical simulation model using a finite element method that simulates human liver tissue’s mechanical response under conditions of damage caused by fibrosis pathology, using MATLAB® together with a complement biomechanical analysis for this same computer program. The mechanical response of liver tissue affected by fibrosis is related to its structural composition. Therefore, in this research, two case studies were developed.
