TRAMA EL TOPOProtagonista di questa parabola sulla vita umana è un abilissimo pistolero, soprannominato "El Topo". A lui è affidato Miguel, che festeggia i suoi 7 anni seppellendo i giocattoli ed il ritratto di sua madre. Insieme i due compiono la "vendetta di Dio" sopra "il colonnello", che ha sterminato un villaggio nel Messico e si è poi regolarmente insediato nella Missione dei Frati Francescani. Il pistolero lo sfida a duello, lo mutila, lo espone al ludibrio dei suoi sudditi.
