Los tumores más frecuentes son cáncer de mama, cáncer de pulmón, cáncer de colon y recto, cáncer de próstata, y cáncer de estómago. Se estima que para el año 2040, se diagnosticarán 30 millones de personas con cáncer. Dicho incremento será de 64% en América Latina y el Caribe (ALC).
