This morning, FromSoftware announced that its latest game, the experimental multiplayer-centric Elden Ring Nightreign, has sold 3.5 million units in less than a week. This is already the second sales announcement in a short span after registering 2 million units sold on launch day. Today, Funcom announced that Dune Awakening will feature private servers at launch. Previously, the Norwegian developer said the feature could be added in the future. However, they've made it work in advance of their own plans. This was a highly requested feature, so fans will be pleased. However, it's worth noting that there will still be more limitations compared to the private servers available in Funcom's own survival game Conan Exiles. However, 2021's failed Battlefield 2042 toned it down considerably.

We're now officially less than a year from the release date of GTA VI, provided that there are no further delays, that is. Even GTA V modders are starting to look with anticipation at Rockstar's massively anticipated sequel; Razed, the creator of the stunning NaturalVision visual overhaul mod for Grand Theft Auto V, has discussed the upcoming game's modding potential in an interview with PC Gamer. I think modding is going to be bigger than ever once GTA VI eventually drops on PC.
