    HALSTAD, MINN. (KVRR) – Local organic farmers and distributors are facing new pressures as tariffs and funding cuts have led to growing uncertainty. Hugh’s Gardens, LLC in Halstad, Minnesota has been washing, storing, and marketing organic potatoes from Red River Valley farmers since the late 80’s. They work with many distributors, as well as food banks and public school systems to provide local produce, but with recent funding cuts and freezes at USDA, it’s become harder to guarantee sales.

    BEMIDJI, Minn. (KFGO/KVRR) – Police are investigating a suspicious death after a man was found dead in an apartment unit in Bemidji.. The call came in on Monday at 1300 America Avenue. Officers found the dead man along with a woman and child in the apartment unit. Bemidji Ambulance Service treated the woman and child before taking them to Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji. The apartment was also evacuated at the same time after a caller reported a possible gas leak.

Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting honoring the work that Fix It Forward Ministries has done in helping people in need get around in the metro.
