Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting honoring the work that Fix It Forward Ministries has done in helping people in need get around in the metro.

Detroit Lakes, MINN. (KVRR) — It’s a new day for emergency medical workers and their patients in Lakes Country. That’s after the emergency medical staff at Essentia in Detroit Lakes voted to form a union. St. Mary’s Essentia Health Medical Service Staff is joining forces with AFSCME Council 65. They’re the folks you’ll see if you have a medical emergency in the Detroit Lakes area. EMT Logyn Saewart says the vote was an overwhelming majority to join.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Firefighters were called out to a structure fire early this morning in North Fargo. The fire started outside a trailers at 245 Circle Dr. N, near the water treatmant plant. on Broadway North. When Fargo Fire Department arrived on scene, the fire had begun to damage the siding and insulation of the trailer, however it was able to be extinguished quickly.

CROOKSTON, MINN. (KVRR) – It’s an annual sign of spring in Crookston, and it’s been growing for 50 years. The University of Minnesota Crookston’s Bedding Plant Sale kicked off once again Wednesday, with a massive selection of flowers, vegetables, and other plants on offer for your garden this year. They saw big crowds on opening day, made all the more rewarding by the work the students had put into growing these plants throughout the year.

FARGO, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) — A 33-year-old man is in the Cass County jail this morning after a stand off with Red River Valley Swat. Fargo Police say officers were called to the 2600 block of 14th Street S. late Tuesday night on a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman says the man threatened her before she left the building. Santiago Rosendez allegedly barricaded himself in the south Fargo apartment with two children.
