Out gay Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) threw anti-LGBTQ+ Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) regret for voting for a major budget bill in her face as she pretended that she never said that she regretted voting for the bill. At issue is the Republican “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” a large spending bill that will increase the deficit by $1.7 trillion, severely cut federal programs for low-income households like Medicaid and SNAP, increase border security spending, and extend and expand income tax breaks.

Nick Offerman, the actor who played Ron Swanson on NBC’s Parks and Recreation, deftly rebuked someone who used his image in an anti-LGBTQ+ meme. Pride Month started earlier this week, and with it came a flood of anti-LGBTQ+ posts on social media, especially on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter. One person posted a modified video clip of Offerman from Parks and Recreation throwing a rainbow flag into a dumpster. “Just wanted to post how I feel about ‘pride’ month,” the X user wrote.

this is beyond idiotic. i eat meat now (used to be vegetarian) but many of my meals are meat-free because no one actually needs to eat meat multiple times per day. it's fine to just not have meat for a meal for no reason other than "i was visiting the vegetarians."

Meat eaters are better hosts because they care about providing vegetarian options to their guests but the same hospitality is not extended by vegetarians (to serve meat options).

I know this is a popular sentiment but Trump actually didn't campaign on a lot of this, like the Musk takeover of the Treasury, the annexation of Canada stuff, the shutdown of Medicaid, etc.

Trump pushed out 2 million federal employees and days later we're seeing the first commercial plane crash fatalities in 16 years. And we're supposed to believe it's a coincidence.
