Everybody's Business/ Features/ Top Stories Levi’s has released its annual Pride Collection along with a promotional video entitled “Meet You in the Park.” “We’re taught to not take up space, we’re taught to be quiet,” a voiceover says in the ad, which doesn’t explicitly mention LGBTQ+ identities. “But there’s something about being in your body that makes you want to just like be proud and take up that space.” The collection itself is designed by LGBTQ+ people and includes rainbow colors and...

Perhaps the most common argument against legalizing same-sex marriage in the 2000s and 2010s was the barnyard. The OG of slippery slope arguments, the reasoning (using that word generously) was that letting two ladies or two dudes marry would mean that the government would have to let anyone marry anyone else, because reasons. That meant people would marry cats, dogs, donkeys… really any animal. In 2013, Rep.

The Supreme Court ruled today in favor of Tennessee’s ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth in the case of U.S. v. Skrmetti, in a 6-3 decision with the Court’s Republican appointees opposing trans rights and the Democratic appointees supporting trans rights. LGBTQ+ households make 15% less in household income compared to non-LGBTQ+ households, according to a new survey from the Center for American Progress. A large part of that, though, is because out LGBTQ+ adults tend to be much younger than non-LGBTQ+ adults. June 17 is LGBTQIA+ Equal Pay Awareness Day, and the CAP released the results from its LGBTQI+ Community Survey, which found that LGBTQ+ households make 85 cents for every dollar earned by non-LGBTQ+ households.

It's something I see a lot on social media from low-info leftists, the idea that the goal of capitalism is to maximize prices instead of maximizing profits. As if corporations are like "ha ha yes yes!" when prices go up and no one buys their products.

this is beyond idiotic. i eat meat now (used to be vegetarian) but many of my meals are meat-free because no one actually needs to eat meat multiple times per day. it's fine to just not have meat for a meal for no reason other than "i was visiting the vegetarians."

Meat eaters are better hosts because they care about providing vegetarian options to their guests but the same hospitality is not extended by vegetarians (to serve meat options).

I know this is a popular sentiment but Trump actually didn't campaign on a lot of this, like the Musk takeover of the Treasury, the annexation of Canada stuff, the shutdown of Medicaid, etc.

Y’all weren’t sleep marched into shit. He literally is doing what he said he would. Y’all just thought it wouldn’t apply to you
