Elon transfer guard Nick Dorn is visiting Indiana today, according to a report published earlier this afternoon. Jeff Rabjohns reported that Dorn, a 6-foot-7, 200-pound guard with two seasons of eligibility remaining, is on campus for a visit. Dorn, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, averaged 15.2 points and 3.8 rebounds last season for the Phoenix. He shot 37.4 percent from the field, 35.1 percent on 3s and 80.5 percent from the free-throw line.

As Indiana continues to recruit the transfer portal in search of frontcourt players, a potential target from the ASUN emerged Tuesday evening. Tobias Bass reported contact between IU and Jacksonville transfer big man Stephon Payne III. In addition to Indiana, Payne told Bass that he’s also heard from Louisville, LSU, Oklahoma, Nevada, Charleston and Virginia Tech since entering the transfer portal.

Duquesne transfer guard Jerni Kiaku announced her commitment to IU women’s basketball today. The 5-foot-7 guard is a native of Garner, North Carolina, and has one season of eligibility remaining. Kiaku averaged 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 27.1 minutes per game last season for the Dukes. She started all 33 games. She shot 47.1 percent from the field, 26.7 percent on 3s and 71.4 percent from the free throw line.

A 6-foot-2, 195-pound guard from Oak Park, Michigan, Drake averaged 11.1 points, 3.1 assists and three rebounds in 26.1 minutes per game last season for the Dragons. Drake shot 42.8 percent from the field, 39.6 percent on 3s and 86.5 percent from the free-throw line. Drexel finished last season 18-15. He scored in double figures 17 times last season, including a pair of 25-point games.
