On Sunday's Daily News Night, the 'Dogs powered past the visiting Jamestown Tarp Skunks 10-8, using a two-run 10th inning to secure the victory.

HORNELL — Le Roy pushed the defending champions to the brink, but ultimately fell at the hands of No. 1 Wellsville 4-3 in Sunday's Section V Class B championship game. With Le Roy leading 3-2 entering the bottom of the sixth inning, Wellsville struck for two runs during its half of the frame to take the lead and eventually take the win. In the bottom of the sixth, the leadoff batter reached on an error before an overthrow on a pickoff attempt allowed him to move up to third base.
