Back when the internet was innocent and the grotesque phrase “content creator” was still buried deep in our brains, cable TV was the dominant force ruling our attention spans. Remember that? Waiting for the non-interactive TV Guide to scroll past your favorite channels seems like a primitive memory at this point, but in hindsight I can look back on it fondly. Similarly, a mix of emotions race around when thinking back on old channels like Fuel TV and its early shows.

A BMW owner is fuming after the AA left his high performance motor at a service station for two nights - with the keys placed on the tyre. Luxury car owner Wade Hassan called the recovery company to take away his £20,000 motor because of a faulty turbo. But he was furious after learning the roadside mechanics - whose motto is “It’s ok you’re with the AA” - had left it open to thieves by leaving it with the key fob under the wheel arch.

Books on graphic design predictably seem to be polarised into two categories: the well conceived and written but badly designed, and the poorly conceived and written but thoughtfully designed. This book falls into the former category – the design neither strives to find an equivalent to the energy of the works, nor does it manage to present a crisp solution to formatting the images and texts.
