October 7, 2024 Clubs are a fantastic way for someone to meet like-minded people at a large-scale university such as Iowa State. One of the most popular clubs at Iowa State is the Gaming & Esports Club. With over 2,000 members on the club’s Discord server, it is among the largest clubs on campus. According to club president Nova Stiles and senior studying technical communication, the club has gained roughly 200 new members since the end of the spring 2024 semester.

La quatrième de couverture attire. Dans un futur proche, les réseaux sociaux ont atteint l’étape ultime : permettre de déverser ses pensées sur le réseau et les partager au Monde entier. Cette transparence totale vue comme une idée magnifique à sa création va vite poser question et même un mouvement de résistance. Sur le papier l’idée paraît captivante et étroitement liée avec des problématiques actuelles. Dans les faits, la lecture de ce livre n’est pas aisée.

Cette chronique aurait été de meilleur aloi si elle avait été publiée avant les fêtes. Il est vrai que ce roman doit être lu durant l’Avent pour en tirer tout le sel, mais… Mea culpa : je ne suis pas parvenu à lire ce livre dans les temps !En lisant la quatrième de couverture, on salive du caractère subversif du point de départ choisi par l’autrice : Janet est triste ; cela lui convient et elle ne souhaite rien faire pour qu’il en soit autrement.
