Eastasiasoft announced that dungeon-crawler Tokyo Clanpool will release internationally in December. The game will release digitally for Nintendo Switch in Asia and for PC worldwide through GOG.com on December 19, 2024. Physical Nintendo Switch editions — available through — will also begin shipping on that date. The digital Nintendo Switch version will release in other regions later. Tokyo Clanpool is developed by Compile Heart and was originally released in Japan in 2017 for PlayStation Vita.

Publisher Klei Publishing and developer Wishes Ultd. announced that monster-taming RPG Beastieball will release on Steam Early Access for PC and Mac on November 12, 2024. The game is expected to spend at least a year in Early Access. Its initial Early Access version is playable to its end credits (with play times ranging from 15-25 hours), though various animations, locations, side content, etc. are currently unfinished and will be updated throughout the Early Access process.

Square Enix released an early launch trailer for Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake ahead of the game’s launch this month. The two-minute video teases player’s journey as they set out to slay the Archfiend Baramos, a task that their renowned father Ortega could not complete. Dragon Quest III originally released for the Famicom in Japan in 1988 and is the third title in the connected Erdrick saga.

Fairy Tail 2 absolutely comes with the full trappings of a shōnen manga. Although primarily known for its work on the Atelier series, developer Gust hasn’t been adverse to branching out every now and then. Its recent escapades have seen the studio working on adaptations of popular mangaka Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail, a first game launching in 2020, while Fairy Tail 2 is to arrive this December to provide the conclusion to the tale.
