    Idea Factory International released a new trailer for Compile Heart and Sting’s dungeon-crawler Mado Monogatari: Fia and the Wondrous Academy. The “Game System Trailer” gives a quick look at the game’s school life events, as well as its adventure sections where players must overcome various gimmicks and foes, ahead of the game’s release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on July 29, 2025.

    Developer Sisterhood Games has begun a Kickstarter campaign for its fourth wall-breaking action RPG Downhill. The campaign is set to run until July 4, 2025, and is looking for £20,000 (c. $27,000) in funding. Those who pledge at least £12 (c. $16) will receive a digital Steam code for the game as part of their rewards, with an £8 (c. $11) Early Bird option also currently available. Downhill is set in the realm of Raghned, which is populated by humans and spirits.

    Publisher 505 Games and developer ArtPlay have announced Metroidvania/action RPG Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, the latest title in the Bloodstained series that acts as a spiritual successor to Castlevania. The game is planned to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026, and is available to wishlist on all platforms.
