There will be 72 golfers competing for a $20 million purse and this tournament doesn’t feature a cut.     The time has finally come for the 125th U.S. Open, which for the 10th time will be played at Oakmont Country Club (par 70, 7,372 yards, POA annua greens) in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. Oakmont most recently hosted the 2016 U.S. Open and that year, Dustin Johnson (-4) won by three strokes. At last year’s U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2, Bryson DeChambeau (-6) won his second U.S. Open title. This week’s field consists of 156 golfers and there will be a top-60 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

This is the first time this course has hosted a PGA TOUR event and at last year’s RBC Canadian Open at Hamilton Country Club, Robert MacIntyre (-16) won by two strokes. This week’s field features 156 golfers and there will be a top 65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

    For the second-to-last signature event this season, the PGA TOUR is hosting the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village (par 72, 7,568 yards, bentgrass greens) in Dublin, Ohio. This Jack Nicklaus-designed course has hosted every Memorial since the event was added to the PGA TOUR annual schedule in 1976 and Scottie Scheffler (-8) is the defending champion of the Memorial.

There will be 135 players competing this week and a top 65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.
