Donald Trump has been the President of the United States for 126 days now, and so far, it's been a mixed bag of goods. However, I find that he is probably being judged too harshly, especially by some of his supporters. The attitude among them reminds me of a few people I know when they watch their home football teams play.

[Originally published in I-System TrendCompass] Over the last few years I'm noticing that the grocery stores where I buy my food are less and less supplied with certain foods, particularly organic meat and periodically milk and eggs. The difference is very obvious and my Carrefour supermarket even reduced the shelf space where these foods are displayed.

[Originally published at I-System TrendCompass] Russia’s military victory over Ukraine has been a near-certainty for months now. Ukraine’s total defeat is only a matter of time, but as that time approaches, European powers have been increasingly determined not to let the war die and are now actively preparing to take it up where Ukraine stumbles.

The "peace talks,” that were meant to take place in London on Wednesday, 23 April, collapsed as US State Secretary Marco Rubio and Trump's envoy Steve Wytkoff cancelled their attendance. Instead, Wytkoff will be heading to Moscow for his fourth meeting with Vladimir Putin. This will prove to be a watershed moment for European powers, dashing their last hope that the US will step up and provide an open-ended security guarantee for a Zelensky regime, or another western-aligned government in Kiev.

[Originally published in this morning’s TrendCompass report] In last Thursday’s report I referenced Regan Boychuk’s article in which he made a credible case about the way $9 trillion in Alberta oil resources were turned into legal collateral for US banks and used that collateral to conjure $5 trillion in mortgage debt and inflate the 2000s housing bubble.

Last March I published an article titled, "The power behind the throne and the forever wars" in which I explored the ultimate, systemic causes behind the West's insatiable appetite for war. Forever wars have become normalized, part of our everyday reality. In an article in the American Journal of Public Health, a group of American researchers made the following claim:"Since the end of World War II, there have been 248 armed conflicts in 153 locations around the world.

Back in 2022, Ukraine’s President Zelensky posed for a photo shoot wearing an olive green t-shirt emblazoned with a bizarre design that read, “Come to the dark side … Dominate or Die.” At the time, I wondered who thought it appropriate to even come up with such slogans, let alone have Ukraine’s president wear it on his chest. The photoshoot was arranged by a British PR team. At the time, a short documentary report about this was published in social media (here’s a YouTube clip).

I first wrote about the “rare earths” deal between the US and Ukraine last week, on Tuesday, 25 February and I intended to follow up with this report in a day or two. However, the situation continued to evolve and the rabbit hole presented new discoveries. The affair appears to be a deceitful ploy contrived by the British ruling establishment to lure Donald Trump into providing security for Ukraine and ultimately to go to war against Russia.
