The world is sinking deeper into all-consuming wars. Good news seems to be nowhere in sight. Missile exchanges between Iran and Israel have continued into their 5th day and neither side seems inclined to back down. Under the peace maker President Trump, the United States seems to be putting the pieces in place to join the war on the side of Israel, making itself yet again the Empire’s chief mercenary force and its perennial useful idiot.

Israel’s initiated the hostilities, which, of course, were purely defensive in nature. They were merely a justified retaliation against Iran’s missile attack which was sure to follow in the near future. Israel always has the right to defend itself.

The negotiations between the United States and Iran hit a snag and President Trump has signalled readiness to resort to military means. After initially agreeing to “allow” Iran enrichment of uranium below weapons grade threshold, the United States reversed its stance and demanded that Iran cease uranium enrichment altogether which would effectively deprive Iran of autonomy in its nuclear development program.

[Originally published in I-System TrendCompass] Over the last few years I'm noticing that the grocery stores where I buy my food are less and less supplied with certain foods, particularly organic meat and periodically milk and eggs. The difference is very obvious and my Carrefour supermarket even reduced the shelf space where these foods are displayed.

[Originally published at I-System TrendCompass] Russia’s military victory over Ukraine has been a near-certainty for months now. Ukraine’s total defeat is only a matter of time, but as that time approaches, European powers have been increasingly determined not to let the war die and are now actively preparing to take it up where Ukraine stumbles.
