On Monday, March 24, Governor Glenn Youngkin issued his decision for 916 bills that had passed the 2025 legislative session. Youngkin signed 346 of the 537 bills originating from the House and 253 of the 379 bills from the Senate. He also vetoed 157 bills and sent 159 back for amendments. “The legislation that I’ve signed into law and the budget amendments I’ve put forward this year will go a long way to helping ensure Virginia remains a great place to live, work and raise a family,” Youngkin said.
McLean debate club prepares to advance to Metrofinals

After debating other schools throughout the school year in five local competitions called WACFLs, the McLean debate club is now ready to advance to Metrofinals. Things used in this project ×1×1×1×1I have a lot of rubik’s cubes. Some are big; some are small; some cost an absurd amount of money. Two years ago, my younger brother destroyed one of my cubes by throwing it on the ground, and since then I have spent $90 on security upgrades to prevent it from happening again. But even when he’s not destroying my cubes, he’s scrambling them when I have them on display. I just want to display my cubes without having them being touched.

I thought it would be cool if I made some magnets with the event logo for the event, so I did. They did not turn out very well, but I learned a lot from the process and have made much better magnets since. Things used in this project ×1I was working on another project in my office, and I noticed that it was cold, but my parents didn't turn on the heater. I thought maybe I could work in my bed, but I didn't have space to put my laptop and mouse. I was also participating in a game jam soon, so I decided to build this table so I could work on my projects in bed. For a table this size to be able to have a removable top, I had to incorporate some sort of supports into the bottom.
