    My forthcoming novel, Ink Ribbon Red, has a familiar set-up: six friends, who met at university, gather at a large house in the Wiltshire countryside to celebrate the youngest of the group turning thirty. It’s the late May bank holiday weekend. By Monday morning, at least one of them will be dead. The book takes place in the final year of the last millennium. 1999.
