Source: The InformationLyft plans to launch robotaxis equipped with self-driving technology supplied by Intel’s Mobileye in Dallas next year, Lyft CEO David Risher said Monday in a post on X. Japanese auto and fleet financing company Marubeni will provide the cars. Riders will be able to request autonomous vehicle rides through the Lyft app.

Controversial plans to build new homes on a golf course in England are set to go ahead. The bid by Hollins Strategic Land was initially rejected by in 2021 as the project would have meant a loss of open green space. But despite a 1,600-strong petition to save the land from development, the government’s planning inspector has overturned the decision after a report revealed the borough was nowhere near meeting its target to build new homes.
