    PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Cloudy skies remain into the overnight hours Sunday into Monday morning. Temperatures will be falling into the low 60s into early Monday morning and overall Monday looks like a cooler and cloudy day with scattered showers. We’ll see rain move in late Sunday night/early Monday morning and showers will linger off and on throughout the morning and even into the afternoon.

(WGHP) — Mostly cloudy skies this evening with temperatures falling into the 60s by 8 p.m. We’ll hold on to partly to mostly cloudy skies overnight with temperatures in the mid-50s by Sunday morning. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures only reaching the low 70s by the afternoon. Stray showers can’t be ruled out but most look to remain dry until Sunday evening. The chance for rain during the day Sunday is 30%.

    (WGHP) — The clouds have moved out, and we’re left with some beautiful but breezy conditions this evening. Skies will remain clear with temperatures falling into the low 70s by 8 p.m.Overnight, skies will continue to remain clear, and with the lower moisture levels, thanks to two back-to-back cold fronts in the last 24 hours, temperatures will fall into the low 50s by Friday morning. Skies will be mostly sunny on Friday with afternoon highs reaching the low 70s.

    (WGHP) – NOAA has released its outlook for the upcoming hurricane season, and the organization is predicting an above-normal 2025 Atlantic hurricane season. Their forecast calls for 13 to 19 named storms in the 2025 hurricane season, with 6 to 10 forecast to become hurricanes and 3 to 5 major hurricanes. The outlook for this season predicts a 60% chance for an above-normal season with a 30% chance for a near-normal season and only a 10% chance for a below-normal season.
