Anna Harlan, a senior health sciences major at the University of South Dakota, has been selected as one of the Iowa Air National Guard’s 185th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) Airmen of the Year for 2024. Harlan was selected from a group of nominees among 94,000 enlisted members in the Air National Guard. She was selected as the 185th ARW's 2024 Airman of the Year in the junior-enlisted category for her superior leadership, job performance and personal achievements.

The Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska (BHECN) has launched its Southeast Site in Lincoln. The opening of the site means BHECN now has locations in all six of the state’s behavioral health regions. The newest site will allow BHECN to address the unique behavioral health workforce needs of the southeastern part of the state, said BHECN Director Marley Doyle, MD.
