Paul works as a travel director at Trafalgar, a company that offers guided trips to nearly 100 countries. Trafalgar has been around for decades, a way to see lots of sights but also travel in style.

Dozens of Australians have had their dream holidays ruined and are tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket after a travel agency collapsed. At the end of last month Traveldream, which operates as an online travel agency, plunged into administration. The business ceased trading immediately on April 28, causing the flight, accommodation, cruise and tour bookings of their customers to go up in smoke.

The conflict breaking out between India and Pakistan has escalated overnight despite both nuclear-armed nations reaching a surprise ceasefire agreement on Saturday. Both sides have accused the other of breaking the agreement. India first accused Pakistan of violating the deal and declared it would be retaliating. A short while later, Pakistan then pointed the finger at India and said attacks were still being carried out in some areas.

A coroner will consider reopening the investigation into a soldier’s shooting following bombshell reports from news.com.au – after his widow waited nearly two years to hear back about his death. Jacob “Jake” Kovco died in Iraq from a gunshot wound in 2006, shot in the head by his own pistol inside barracks, making him the first Australian soldier killed in the conflict. A military board of inquiry and subsequent coronial inquest questioned whether someone else could have pulled the trigger.
