Long before President Donald Trump pushed the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act of 2025, he called for a "big, beautiful wall" on the U.S./Mexico border. And of the four U.S. states that shared a border with Mexico, GOP-leaning Texas had the loudest and most vocal support for the wall. But MSNBC's Ja'han Jones, in his June 19 column, stresses that Trump's "big, beautiful wall" now seems to be on life support in the Lone Star State.

According to a Washington Post/Ipsos poll conducted June 6-10, President Donald Trump's "big, beautiful bill" — which narrowly passed in the U.S. House of Representatives, 215-214, and is now being considered in the U.S. Senate — is getting a negative response from many voters. And in a Thursday morning, June 19 post on his Truth Social platform, Trump claimed that Fox News distorted the results of the 2024 presidential election.

Sunny Hostin's, @sunny, anti-Trump message: "My fellow Puerto Ricans, Trash Collection Day is November 5, 2024." I concur. Este martes, 5 noviembre, hay que sacar la basura. Hay que votar. https://t.co/bmP4u8JzqY

Trump described Jan. 6, 2021 as "a day of love." Well, if one's idea of "ahimsa" is Pinochet, Stroessner, Trujillo, or the Hitler generals Trump idolizes, it was a MAGA lovefest. On Nov. 5, vote as if your life depends on it. Because it does. https://t.co/kNkjYvoI3Q

Philly has lost one of its major soul icons: Maze leader Frankie Beverly, who I once had the pleasure of interviewing. RIP. I'll definitely be blasting "Joy and Pain" and "Happy Feelings" tonight, along with "Golden Time of Day" and "Before I Let Go." https://t.co/fXgtMLCstZ
