We’re looking at a regionwide marginal risk for isolated severe thunderstorms. The threat for severe storms will kick in first thing in the morning and will last through late Saturday evening. No matter where you are Saturday, please be prepared to take shelter in the event of a severe storm. These storms will present with damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, small hail, and lots of lightning. The busiest part of the day will be the heat of the day.

Rick Willever sent us a message saying “For the 4th year in a row, the bald eagles at Lake Carmi have 3 eaglets. The first one hatched around April 9th. They are growing quickly and can be seen regularly peeking over the side of the nest.
